How ranking works
Which restaurants you see
LastTable lists restaurants in Casablanca that have signed up and switched on "Visible to diners". Your search decides which of them appear: date, time, party size, area and any filters you set. A restaurant appears in results only when it has a table that fits your search.
Recommended (the usual order)
Recommended orders restaurants by three things, in this order of weight: the restaurant's rating, whether it has a Flash Tables offer now, and how far it is from you (or from the city centre if you have not shared your location).
Promoted restaurants
Restaurants can pay, with LastTable credits, to boost their listing for a limited time. A boosted restaurant comes first in Search's default order (Recommended), labelled "Promoted". Lists built on that order follow it: Tonight near you on Discover, when few restaurants are live, and Similar tables on a restaurant page. Every new restaurant gets one free boost when it first opens LastTable Business.
Promotion never changes For you, Trending, the map or a sort you choose yourself.
For you
For you is personal. It uses places you saved or visited, cuisines and areas you looked at, your dietary preferences and whether a restaurant has a free table for the coming service. Each card says why it is shown. Before you sign in this runs only on your phone, and you can switch it off in Notifications & privacy.
Trending
Trending near you looks at how quickly interest in a restaurant is growing: views, saves, bookings and Flash Tables claims on LastTable, and, where switched on, the number of public mentions. Every restaurant is scored the same way, and paying does not make a restaurant trending.
Sorts you choose
Nearest orders by distance, Rating by rating, Biggest offer by the size of the current Flash Tables offer, and Price by the price for two. Nothing else changes these orders.
What does not affect ranking
Apart from a labelled boost, payments to LastTable do not change where a restaurant appears: not the fee for new diners, not its subscription plan. We do not favour restaurants because of who owns them.
Skip the Queue does not change where a restaurant appears in lists or search results.
Questions and complaints
Diners: write to support@lasttable.ma. To report a listing or photo that is wrong or unlawful, tap "Report this listing" on the restaurant's page or email abuse_report@lasttable.ma.
Restaurants can complain about ranking, a suspension or anything else about LastTable to partners@lasttable.ma. We confirm receipt within 2 working days and reply in writing within 30 days. If we cannot agree, the restaurant agreement names the mediators we will work with.
For restaurants
